VIII UBC General Conference in Turku
Convening every second year in one of the member cities of the Union, the General Conference is the supreme decision-making body of the UBC (Union of the Baltic Cities). The eighth General Conference will be held in Turku in 2005.

Apart from the actual general conference (Saturday 1 October), there will be a conference entitled ”Towards a New Baltic Sea Agenda” (from 29 – 30 September) that focuses on the new situation in the Baltic Sea Region after the enlargement of the EU, e.g. from the political, economic and cultural point of view.

Cities, organisations and other communities can book a stand in the Sigyn Hall for the VIII General Meeting of the UBC.
